We are proud to announce that Aqua Services, a Jones Lake Management partner, received the Conservation by Business Award at the Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s 2023 Conservation Achievement Awards. According to Troy Goldsby, Southern Division Director of Interstate Contracts and Fisheries Biology, the company supported the Tennessee Valley Authority by controlling invasive exotic aquatic weeds in the Tennessee River system.
Aqua Services was also honored for collaborating with several groups on the Bill Dance Signature Lakes project which earned the 2023 Conservationist of the Year Award for its significant contributions to the natural resource conservation cause in Tennessee. The project is an incredible large-scale effort to improve lake habitat and recreation access.
The Tennessee Wildlife Federation is one of the largest nonprofit organizations dedicated to preserving Tennessee’s wildlife and natural resources. For more than fifty years, the Federation has recognized those making significant contributions to conservation efforts.
