FAQs
What is the difference between algae and aquatic weeds?
Algae has no true roots, stems, or leaves. It is either the stringy filamentous mats you see along the edge or the planktonic suspension that turns the whole water column green. Aquatic weeds are actual plants, floating, submerged, or emergent along the shoreline. They look different, they cause different problems, and they are treated differently.
