Some carry short-term restrictions on swimming, irrigation, or livestock watering, and your biologist tells you which apply to your waterbody before the application happens. The other consideration is oxygen: killing a large volume of vegetation all at once consumes oxygen as it decomposes, which is one of several reasons we treat earlier in the season and in stages rather than all at once.
