After phragmites treatment and removal
Before phragmites treatment

Phragmites had grown into a dense stand that outcompeted native plants. An herbicide treatment and manual removal were necessary to eliminate this invasive species.

Our team of biologists conducted a comprehensive survey and treatment to manage invasive phragmites, a highly aggressive species that threatens native ecosystems by displacing beneficial plants and disrupting wildlife habitats. Using low-volume foliar sprays and hand-wiping techniques, our biologists carefully targeted phragmites while preserving native vegetation. These precise methods ensure effective control and ecological balance. In approximately eight weeks, we will return to remove the treated phragmites, completing the restoration process and promoting the long-term health of the area.
