Ingredients
1 cup | Whole Wheat Flour |
2 cup | Stone Ground Yellow Corn Meal |
2/3 cup | Instant Potato Flakes |
1/2 cup | Ground Pretzels with Salt |
3 Tbsp | Fine Ground Black Pepper |
1 Tbsp | Ground Red Pepper |
2 Tbsp | Salt |
1 Tbsp | Paprika |
2 Tsp | Garlic Powder |
32-64 oz. | Canola or Vegetable Oil |
Directions:
- Mix all dry ingredients well.
- Soak fish fillets in salted buttermilk and egg wash mix for at least one hour or overnight.
- Dredge fish fillets in breading mixture.
- Heat oil to 350-370º F
- Cook fillets for 3-6 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
